Our stay at the Wild Atlantic Hideaway was absolutely wonderful. The property itself is stunning, and we felt extremely comfortable and at home during our time there. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, always available to assist us with any questions or needs we had. The shower was fantastic, and the heating system kept us cozy throughout our stay. Furthermore, the abundance of information provided in the property was helpful for exploring the area. We truly had a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The location of this hideaway is simply breathtaking, with a beautiful garden and a short walk to a secluded rocky beach. the main room offers stunning views, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. the apartment itself is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a well-stocked kitchen and excellent WIFI throughout. the hosts, Dermot and Mari, go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, providing thoughtful touches like fresh eggs and a USB stick with films.
Parking can be a bit tricky, especially if you're not confident in reverse parking in tight spaces.

Had a decent stay here over New Year. Location was prime, with stunning views and beach a short drive away. Kitchen was well-equipped, so we could make our own meals. Bed was super comfortable and the WIFI was excellent throughout the house. The garden was a pleasant surprise, way prettier than the pictures. Would recommend for a peaceful break and exploring.
Heating issues in the morning, but quickly resolved. Sitting area was a bit uncomfortable for a cozy night in, could use a furniture upgrade.

What a gem of a place! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wild Atlantic Hideaway. We ran the Clonakilty Half & Full Marathon and celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary so the location and everything about this place was perfect. Tucked away in the Irish countryside, it was the perfect "hideaway" for us. Mari and Dermot were fantastic hosts, really friendly and helpful. We loved that we could see the ocean from it too.
